Gulf Print & Pack 2025 in Riyadh provided a tailored platform for the latest advancements in printing and packaging technologies. Sabarish Ramanunni, Graphics Communication Division Manager at Fujifilm Middle East, told PrintWeek: “GPP Riyadh was a good show for Fujifilm. We were able to successfully launch the two new producution machines. We are grateful for the visit of the Minister and Deputy minister to our booth. The show was successful in terms of showcasing of the products to the industry and announcing the intention of FUjifilm to be present in KSA market to support the customers.
“Fujifilm Showcased A jetpress corner where our flagship inkjet products in the Jetpress family JP750S and FP790, was introduced to the customers. We also had represented the whole product portfolios in video walls shocasing our entire solutions to the market. The machines actively demonstrated was for the Print On Demand segment where the entire range of Toner based printing products were shown in live demos. This was the first time the two new mid range printers were first shown in the entire MEA region.
“Customer engagement was excellent in this show. And we got a lot of response from the visitors about the entire portfolio being promoted. Many customers were not entirely aware of the complete product portfolio of Fujifilm and it was a great opportunity to bring this awareness to the market.”
He concludes: “Fujifilm Middle East have not participated in a GPP since 2014 edition in Dubai. This is the first main event we have participated in the region in the post covid era. So it would not be a fair comparison to make any analysis based on our experience 11 years before simply due to the fact that the market, customer, products and every expectation of these are different now.”
