Wellcare Trading Company launches new branch in Dammam, Sau…

Wellcare Trading Company has opened their new branch in Khalid Street, Al Adamah Dist., Dammam. On this occasion, Godwin Joseph, Executive Director of the company, said: "We will be showcasing our full range of advertising products and services. We will collaborate with local businesses, marketing agencies, interior fit-out companies, and possibly government entities to promote our products. Our logistics & technical team is all set to give the best and timely service. We have the most advanced printing solutions, including UV, Eco-solvent, Dye Sublimation, RUK Digital Cutters, CNC Routers, Laser Cutting Solutions, Laminators, and Cutting Plotters, along with the print media. We will also be promoting sustainable printing and advertising materials for the industry. We started our Saudi operation 2 years back with the opening of the Riyadh Branch. After Dammam, our next plan is to start the Jeddah Branch by the 1st quarter of 2025. Also, Wellcare will be participating in exhibitions like FESPA Middle East 2025,  Saudi Signage & Labelling Expo in Riyadh, etc. A new branch in Dammam can help businesses in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia, Dammam, Alkobar, Jubail, etc., and Bahrain also to access advertising requisites without the need to rely on suppliers from other regions." He explains, "Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 is a key driver of change in its advertising landscape. Despite the rise of digital platforms, traditional advertising still holds significant sway. Our strategy will be to support and satisfy our customers with the best & latest solutions. The advertising markets in Saudi Arabia and the UAE are both dynamic and rapidly evolving, with each country exhibiting distinct characteristics due to differences in demographics, economic conditions, media consumption habits, and cultural influences. Saudi Arabia has a population of around 35 million people (2024 estimate), making it the most populous country in the Gulf region. This translates into a larger consumer base. Saudi Arabia’s advertising spending is substantial, but it is still growing rapidly as the country diversifies and the significant investments in sectors like tourism, entertainment, and technology (particularly under the Vision 2030 plan)."

The Manchester-based large-format print group developed the substrate in partnership with OOH media agency Posterscope and an undisclosed European paper mill. Posterscope group innovation director Claire Kimber said that much of the industry would likely assume that recycled products were already available for OOH projects, but this was not the case. “[So,] this development represents an enormous step-change for the out of home industry, in response to demand from advertisers to help meet their social and environmental goals,” she said.
